Neoproof® PU360

Neoproof® PU360 is a water-based polyurethane waterproofing coating designed for concealed (non-exposed) applications, providing reliable moisture protection beneath tiles, screeds, and insulation systems. It forms a flexible, crack-bridging membrane ideal for wet areas and under-tile waterproofing.

Suitable Applications

▪ Waterproofing under tiles in wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and terraces
▪ Horizontal and vertical construction surfaces before plastering or tiling
▪ Roofs and walls prior to installation of insulation or soundproofing systems
▪ Drywall panels and cementitious substrates before finishing layers
▪ Use as a vapour barrier in building envelope systems

Description

Concealed Polyurethane Waterproofing for Wet Areas and Under-Tile Systems

Neoproof® PU360 is a one-component, water-based modified polyurethane elastomeric waterproofing coating developed for non-exposed applications where long-term moisture protection is required beneath finishing layers such as tiles, screeds, plaster, or insulation systems.

The coating cures to form a seamless, flexible, and moisture-resistant membrane that protects construction substrates from water ingress while remaining compatible with subsequent cementitious layers such as tile adhesives and screeds.

At Everkast, this system is recommended for projects requiring reliable concealed waterproofing, particularly in Nigerian buildings where wet areas, balconies, and terraces are exposed to continuous moisture and require proper system build-up beneath the surface finish.

Neoproof® PU360 exhibits excellent adhesion across a wide range of substrates including concrete, plaster, metal, wood, and drywall, making it suitable for both new construction and refurbishment works.

Its elastomeric properties allow it to accommodate minor substrate movement, while its crack-bridging capability enhances durability in areas prone to shrinkage or structural stress. The coating also offers strong resistance to ponding water and the alkaline environment of cement-based systems.

Being water-based and solvent-free, it is environmentally friendly, easy to apply, and suitable for enclosed or internal environments where low odour and safe application are important.
