Neoproof PU W

Water-based aliphatic polyurethane waterproofing coating for exposed roofs, designed for durable protection across concrete, screeds, tiles, metal surfaces, and existing waterproofing systems.

Suitable Applications

▪ Exposed roofs constructed with concrete, cement tiles, or cementitious screeds
▪ Walkable roof areas requiring high resistance to ponding water
▪ Metallic surfaces requiring protective waterproofing
▪ Application over existing or aged waterproofing coatings
▪ Protection of polyurethane (PU) foam insulation systems
▪ Installation over mineral bitumen membranes

The above surfaces require appropriate preparation and priming prior to the application

Description

High-Performance Roof Waterproofing System for Durable Protection

This water-based aliphatic polyurethane waterproofing coating is designed for exposed roofs where long-term durability, flexibility, and reliable waterproofing performance are critical. It forms a seamless, moisture-resistant membrane that protects roof surfaces against water ingress, UV exposure, and mechanical stress — making it well-suited for demanding project conditions across Nigeria.

At Everkast, we recommend this system for projects requiring a balance of waterproofing performance, crack-bridging capability, and resistance to harsh environmental conditions, including high heat, heavy rainfall, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

The system is classified in the highest performance category (W3) as a reinforced waterproofing solution in accordance with EAD 030350-00-0402, with an expected service life of up to 25 years (ETA 25-0091). It has been tested under severe climate conditions, across varying surface slopes, and under both low and high temperature extremes.

  • High elongation with strong mechanical durability for long-term performance
  • Excellent resistance to ponding water on flat or low-slope roofs
  • Certified cool roof properties (white finish) to help reduce heat absorption
  • Suitable for walkable roofs and exposed roof applications
  • Long-term resistance to UV radiation and harsh weather conditions
  • Maintains elasticity across a wide temperature range (-15°C to +80°C)
  • Smooth curing without surface defects such as blisters or craters
  • Enhanced hardness with effective crack-bridging capability
