Neoroof

Neoroof is a high-performance, water-based hybrid elastomeric waterproofing coating designed for exposed roofs requiring long-term protection, flexibility, and energy efficiency. It forms a seamless, UV-resistant membrane with excellent durability under harsh weather and temperature conditions.

Suitable Applications

▪ Exposed roofs constructed with concrete, cement tiles, or cementitious screeds
▪ Roof areas requiring high resistance to ponding or stagnant water
▪ Metallic and corrugated roof surfaces
▪ Application over new or existing waterproofing systems
▪ Installation over mineral bitumen membranes
▪ Roof areas around or beneath photovoltaic (solar) panels

Description

Hybrid Elastomeric Roof Waterproofing System with Energy-Saving Performance

Neoroof is a water-based hybrid (PU-acrylic) elastomeric waterproofing coating developed for exposed roof applications where durability, flexibility, and long-term waterproofing performance are essential. It cures to form a seamless, moisture-resistant membrane that protects substrates against water ingress, UV radiation, and environmental stress.

At Everkast, this system is recommended for roof waterproofing projects where both performance and energy efficiency are critical, particularly under Nigerian climate conditions involving high solar exposure, heavy rainfall, and fluctuating temperatures.

Neoroof features high solar reflectance and thermal emittance, helping to reduce surface temperatures and improve indoor thermal comfort. The membrane retains its elasticity even under extreme temperature variations and maintains its performance without becoming tacky under high heat.

Certified as a cool roofing solution, it contributes to energy savings by reflecting solar radiation and reducing heat absorption on exposed roof surfaces.

The system is classified in the highest performance category (W3) as a reinforced waterproofing system, with an expected service life of up to 25 years under severe climate conditions and across different roof slope configurations.

Key Properties & Advantages

  • Forms a seamless, impermeable waterproofing membrane
  • High resistance to UV radiation and long-term weather exposure
  • Certified cool roof properties for reduced heat absorption
  • Excellent resistance to ponding or stagnant water
  • Maintains elasticity across a wide temperature range (-35°C to +80°C)
  • Does not become sticky under high temperatures
  • Retains whiteness and reflective performance over time
  • High resistance to dirt pick-up, maintaining surface cleanliness
  • Suitable for walkable roof applications
  • Water vapour permeable, allowing the substrate to “breathe”
  • Eco-friendly, water-based, and easy to apply
  • Cost-effective solution with high coverage efficiency

Best Used For

  • Exposed roof waterproofing systems
  • Roof refurbishment and maintenance projects
  • Commercial and residential buildings
  • Energy-efficient roofing applications
  • Roof areas with solar panel installations
